Frisco awarded $50,000 from CDOT for Pedestrian Promenade to Help Businesses Stay Open Amid COVID Protocols

The Town of Frisco was awarded $50,000 Colorado Department of Transportation for their innovative approach to creating a Pedestrian Promenade on Main Street enabling businesses to stay open and meet physical distancing protocols and public health orders. Town Manager, Nancy Kerry, directed staff to apply for the grant funds to build ‘parklets’ and outdoor dining spaces for businesses, which will be used during and after the pandemic for attractive outdoor dining and retail spaces.
