I had multiple opportunities to observe Nancy as a community leader, visionary, and problem solver addressing many issues in the City of South Lake Tahoe. Nancy always demonstrated a keen intellect, the ability to articulate relevant policy and practice considerations, and a willingness to consider multiple perspectives in forming decisions. Nancy has always been passionate about “making the community better” and that was evident throughout her tenure as City Manager. I have appreciated watching Nancy at work both from a distance and on projects of mutual interest.
