As a former Assistant City Manager for the City of Solano Beach (2003-2005), I have had the honor of and privilege of working closely and collaboratively with Nancy Kerry who has successfully accomplished a number of ascending career achievements in the field of City management.
During the last 13 years, Nancy has excelled working in a number of municipal organizations. She has grown tremendously and is very experienced and skilled at enhancing City activities, programs, services, and building highly effective teams. She has a tremendous exuberance and passion for transforming City organizations to make them better-equipped to meet and exceed community expectations, and working within the confines of an ever changing workforce.
She truly has an impressive work ethic, can-do attitude, and a set of ethical standards that makes her stand above others working in the public trust. She has demonstrated effectiveness and leadership in bringing elected officials and key stakeholders together to accomplish major goals and executing a City Council’s vision. She is adept at changing an organizational culture and providing sound leadership as an executive leader.
She has my highest recommendation and know if given the opportunity to continue to lead public agencies will be a tremendous asset to any City organization, and elected body in the future.
In closing, Ms. Kerry embodies a growing and progressive demographic in City management, and contributes greatly to its emerging and successful presence in leading municipalities into the new millennium.
