Nancy is skilled at building relationships. I don’t believe there has been a city manager here that was able to bridge the gap between business and government. There were trust and collaboration during her leadership that resulted in impactful community improvements. Nancy’s desire was to make city government sustainable, create win-win scenarios that would bring economic and life-quality improvements to our city. Nancy is courageous, strategic and visionary. She worked diligently with city staff, public agencies, business and community to affect positive change in a short amount of time. Her personality is one that exudes empathy for all points of view with an eye on solutions to complicated problems.
